Let’s get in our feelings about 2020, shall we? Let’s get in our feelings about 2020, shall we? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2020 was the year I chose myself over a job...twice. I spent too much time in 2019 and whatever freedom we had in 2020 being pushed around in toxic workplaces.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2020 was the year I jumped. Two amazing people took a chance on me and quickly became family. 🖤 (@lauren_m_lang @howielang @langconstructionllc @gorillastoneinc )⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So 2020, thanks for leading me to my dream job when I least expected it. Thanks for allowing me to help so many frontline workers with @defineddesignsshop masks. Thanks for giving me grace, getting me in my feelings... good bad and ugly, letting me cry on my birthday (sry not sry) have so many laughs, FaceTime calls with family, and even a few road trips. I drank all the white claws, watched everything Netflix can offer, and maybe ignored my blog a little, but I also did so much more that wasn’t captured on Instagram. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2021 is going to be a good one. I can’t wait to share all the adventures with you. Let’s knock some walls down, paint everything black, and make things pretty. ✨

Remember the time he fixed a broken (read: cut in half) floor joist in my house for $18?? 🙌🏼 He still rolls his eyes at my home projects. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ To me it’s a vacation, but had a great time visiting “home” for the holidays.... not looking forward to the 10 hr drive back though 🙈🖤 swipe for a little peek at my holiday vacation. ☀️

Depending on this wall, tile and paint is in the near future.
