So I’ve already talked about being a part of the 90% club before. All of my townhouse projects seem to be 90% done at all times. I have kitchen projects, stair projects, dining room projects and my master bedroom to finish. My half bath is the closest to being done, but I’m still looking for the perfect shelf. Well, I’ve been wanting to focus on getting my little galley kitchen done since that’s where we usually are and what people see first, but my master bathroom had other plans this week. I discovered that my 30 year old fiberglass tub insert is starting to crack this week – yikes, not trying to have any water leaks! So I’m moving that unexpected project to the top of my list. I decided if I’m going to have to replace the tub, then why not take advantage and tile the walls so it’s a little more fit for a master.. so I started my inspiration hunt. It’s a small bathroom so I’m thinking keeping it simple with a subway tile with a twist. I love this post by Emily Henderson about the different subway tile patterns. I’m definitely leaning towards stacked vs staggered, and I really love the vertical stack bond the more I see it in a clean, neutral colored tile. It really creates a fun look and in a bathroom is a no brainer to me.

Stay tuned for the project.
