Sharing the master bedroom reveal of a design client in South End, Charlotte.
Today’s the day for the Master Bedroom reveal from the South End townhome I shared a few weeks ago. If you missed that post, you can check it out here. To recap – This newlywed couple needed a hand with swapping out some of their dark and heavy feeling furniture to create a light and bright space that was both functional and felt like home. In the master bedroom, we decided to focus on new nightstands ( a great way to break up a set of matching furniture on a budget) and lightening the rest of the space up with items like a rug, new pillows, and removable wallpaper.
This client in particular wanted to see some furniture items locally so she could touch and feel her options – I knew a trip to Nadeau Charlotte was a must for this home. After a few trips to Nadeau – we settled on the perfect look for the whole house, but these nightstands were the big winner.
When it came to pillows and all the other little details, we settled for a minimal combination of “functional yet styled” so there wasn’t a ton to clean or always feel like they were picking up and moving around. But also just enough to make a statement. I’m all about a functional design aesthetic, so we made it happen and they can always add more as they grow into their townhome.
