Hi friends, it’s me again. Back with yet another Moscow Mule themed blog post. I know a while back I shared a post on how to make a Moscow Mule. Since it was pretty popular, I figure it was time for a little update. Same fool proof recipe, new pretty pictures to guide you through making your own.

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED
- Copper Mugs
- Bar jigger (measuring tool)
- Ginger Beer (I love Trader Joe’s brand)
- Lime juice
HERE’S HOW YOU MAKE IT
Step 1: Fill your mugs with ice. I think it’s key to fill the ice all the way so your mug can start to adapt to the cold temperature before you make the drink. (I wrote a whole blog post on that here)
Step 2: Pour 2 oz. of vodka over your ice. Using a bar jigger will help you measure accurately, they come in different sizes so make sure you’re using the right measurement. I typically use one side for vodka and one side for lime juice.
Step 3: Add 1 oz. of lime juice to your drink. This is where I’ll use the smaller side of my bar jigger. Some recipes might call for sour mix or juicing a whole lime… I actually prefer the bite from the adding the bottled 100% lime juice rather than just using the juice from a lime. Why not use both, right?
Step 4: Top off your drink with ginger beer. This can be poured directly into your copper mug.
Step 5: Garnish with a lime slice and enjoy!
