I’m back with another post featuring some of my favorite tiled floors, walls, bathrooms, etc. You name it, I’ve most likely pinned it. You might have caught the last post featuring subway tile, well today is all about herringbone.
First things first, you don’t need to be remodeling your home or taking on a bathroom renovation to read these posts. While they’re helpful for those of you picking out tile and paint for your new home I personally love looking at pretty things. And I love me some herringbone tile. Second – herringbone is not a specific type of tile. It can be any kind of tile really, as long as you’ve selected a rectangle shape tile. Herringbone is the pattern that the tile is laid in. Remember chevron?? Herringbone is chevron’s older and much more sophisticated sister. Here are a few of my favorites:

ONE – Herringbone shower walls with subway tiles. Yes please!
TWO – This herringbone wall uses a longer, subway tile that creates a little more of a modern look.
THREE – Black tile is such a sleek look and I love it in this herringbone pattern paired with white grout and brass fixtures.
FOUR – Use a small tile to create a herringbone border on your fireplace.. the possibilities are endless!
FIVE – Open shelving will never be the same with this herringbone tile wall. I LOVE this look!
SIX – This little peek of herringbone pattern in a built-in shower shelf is the perfect way to try out the pattern without committing to too much at once.
SEVEN – Another shot of some open shelving with a beautiful subway tile herringbone wall.
Which look is your favorite?
