Styling a Bar Cart for Summer

Summer is here and the weather is hot. If you’ve been following along with the blog the past few weeks you can probably tell that this North Carolina heat has been getting to me. And by getting to me I mean, I’m always in the happy hour ‘get-me-a-refreshing-drink’ mood. Never a bad thing though right? Who doesn’t love a little refreshing libation on a hot summer day? Well, you can’t have a refreshing drink without all the fixings and there’s no better way to store and display everything than on a bar cart!

Today I’m sharing a peek into my bar cart and how I’ve styled it perfectly for summertime! In the winter it’s usually filled with bottles of wine or champagne – It’s an easy way for me to always make sure I have a last minute hostess gift {prefect for the holidays} and for me of course!

But when it comes to summer… I try to keep it colorful! A bowl of limes & fresh cut flowers help keep everything so fresh and happy. I also add color to my bar cart with blue rocks glasses, party straws, and cocktail napkins. Hint: don’t be afraid to mix metals on your bar cart either! I’ve got gold, silver, copper & even mercury glass mixed here and it doesn’t look like a mess!

Huge thanks to District Flats Apartments in South End, Charlotte for letting me use their space for this photoshoot! How great is this tile wall?!?

Thanks for stopping by Samantha! Bar carts can get very pricey (definitely not bank account friendly!) This cart is a great, affordable option that would fit great in an apartment without losing any prime shelf space! Check it out here,
